Welcome to my Book Review . Those who know me I am a self professed Library whore (lol) On the weekends you can find me at my local branch. During the week I’ve been known to hit the local Library Inter-loan site and request books to be delivered to my branch that don’t carry specific titles I am interested in. Once a week you will find a book review picked from my library reading list or from my digital E reader. If anyone else has read the same title I will love to hear your opinion of it as well… Happy Reading

Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes

I came across this book in the library as I never heard of it before(why I don’t know) and it spoke to me on so many levels. Estes truly has a gift of storytelling. She takes many “native” stories of different cultures and defines how they relate to women going through different phases of self discovery. From the story of Bluebeard where a young lady discovers her inner knowing and strength to Seal Skin/Soul Skin where a woman who gives so much of herself to another that she seemingly wastes away to nothing before she returns to her true “nature”. This book is a must read for women young and old especially if one is searching out for their bones to become re-fleshed.
